Juventus and Portugal star player Cristiano Ronaldo could lose as much as 20-30 percent of his wages at Juventus due to the coronavirus pandemicthat has hit Italy and forced sporting activities to be put on hold indefintely.

Over 4,000 people have died in Italy and the whole nation has been put on military lock-down, and according to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo Ronaldo could lose up to £8.4m in future wages, with Juve expected to reduce the wages of all players by at least 20 per cent as the Serie A season has been suspended with clubs expected to hugely suffer financially as a result.

Ronaldo has a net worth of around an astronomical £361m according to Forbes, and he has a Nike lifetime deal that will see him pick up a staggering £773m.
