Governors Of The 36 States Set Take Coronavirus Vaccine Publicly On March 10

Governors of the 36 states in the country are reportedly set to publicly take the Coronavirus vaccine on March 10.

The agreement was reached at meeting which had Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF); Osagie Ehanire, health minister; and Chikwe Ihekweazu, director-general of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), all in attendance .

The chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum and Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi conveyed the decision in a statement released on Thursday March 4.

Fayemi who gave an assurance of the vaccine being safe, urged Nigerians to register on the National Primary Health Care Development Agency website – nphcsaict.com.ng/publicreg for the vaccine

It is also expected that frontline workers will receive their vaccination alongside the president and vice-president on Saturday March 6.
