Nigerians Struggles To Get Their Old Naira Notes Exchanged (Video)

A video of Nigerians stumbling to enter banking halls to exchange their old naira notes for new ones has appeared online.

Remember that when the old notes were first set to expire, the Central Bank of Nigeria refused to budge, causing extreme tension and making it difficult for people to deposit the notes before the deadline.

However, the bank has since announced that the President has approved a 10-day extension to encourage more Nigerians to deposit the old notes promptly.

The recordings showed citizens fighting and attempting to enter the already congested facilities as security personnel failed to keep the crowd under control.
