A 53-year-old lady was detained by the Lagos State Police Command after allegedly being caught in possession of laminated INEC materials.
This was confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, after the woman was spotted on video making copies on March 17, 2023, on Friday.
The offender was captured on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Candos Road, Baruwa in the Iyana-Ipaja suburb of Lagos, claims the PPRO.
He said the offender was arrested while printing inside a business center.
He said;
“She was arrested with 550 different INEC materials. The laptop she used in printing the materials has been recovered and she couldn’t give a good account of how she came in possession of the materials. The case has been transferred to State CID Yaba for further investigation.”
