“We’ve Spent Over N10m On Actors With Health Challenges” – Mr Latin Reveals Why They Can’t Help Actors With Health Issues

Published

Bolaji Amusan, often known as Mr. Latin, is a Yoruba Nollywood actor and the president of the Theatre Arts and Movies Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN). He has provided a justification for why the union is unable to assist some struggling actors in the film industry.

According to Naija News, the actor said that TAMPAN had spent more over N10 million on performers with health issues since he acquired the presidency during an interview on 32FM, Ibadan.

He claims that since the ailing performers who are frequently heard pleading for money on television and radio are not TAMPAN members in good standing, the association is unable to aid them.

Mr. Latin stated that the film association exclusively helps current members who are experiencing health issues.

He said, “Since I became the President of TAMPAN, we have spent over N10million on actor’s health challenges. The ones you see going on TVor radio to beg for money are not active members of the association. We always come to the aid of all active members”.
