APC governors set February 2022 for national convention

The national convention of the All Progressives Congress(APC) is set totake place in February, governors of the party affirmed on Sunday night.

The decision was taken on Sunday night, 16th, January 2022 in Abuja, by no fewer than 20 out of the 26 governors at a meeting held at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge in the Asokoro District .

The meeting ended at about 11:30 pm.

Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu said the forum passed a vote on confidence on Gov. Buni, chairman of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.
