In a recent interview, Segun Wire requested for assistance and begged well-meaning Nigerians to approach Nigerian singer Zlatan on his behalf.

This comes after Segun’s mother publicly apologized to Zlatan for wronging the singer.

Remember how Segun Wire, then six years old, rose to fame on the Internet after declaring in a video that he wanted to be a “Yahoo Boy” when he grew up?

After his video went viral, Zlatan offered to help and took over as his manager.

However, their relationship went sour after Segun’s family accused Zlatan of exploiting their son.

Following the fall out with Zlatan, little was heard about Segun until he recently surfaced online, begging Zlatan for forgiveness.

In the interview, Segun narrated how things have been very difficult for his family since Zlatan stopped helping him.

He said he dropped out of school after the issue with Zlatan and now begs people for money to fend for himself. According to him, at fifteen, he can’t read or write.

“I don’t attend any school. I was going to school before the school before the issue happened. I’ve stopped going to school since then. I cant speak English, I don’t know anything, If you give me a book. I cant read…Please help me beg Zlatan”. He said in part.
