Barcelona Striker Aguero ‘is Expected To Be Out Until NOVEMBER With An Injury’

Published

Barcelona have been dealt another serious blow ahead of the new LaLiga season with reports suggesting Sergio Aguero will be out for 10 weeks with a calf injury.

The Argentine striker moved to the Nou Camp on a free transfer from Manchester City earlier this summer but appears unlikely to make his competitive debut for some time.

According to Spanish radio station RAC1, Aguero could be out until November and was in so much pain on Sunday that he could hardly walk.

Ronald Koeman is now desperately short of attacking options going into Barcelona’s opening LaLiga game of the season against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

It remains to be seen how Aguero picks up the injury, given he is yet to play for the Catalan giants and was an unused substitute in Argentina’s Copa America final win over Brazil on July 11.
