BREAKING: APC Reveals Where The Next President Will Come From in 2023

Published

All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that it has not yet decided which region it will zone its presidential ticket by 2023.

Chairman of the party’s national caretaker committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state, made this know during a recent interview

The conversation on who takes the baton of leadership from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 has been gaining momentum with groups, coalitions and individuals establishing arguments on where the presidency should be zoned to.

Top politicians including former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu, Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and a host of others have been given support to take the leadership baton when Buhari-north presidency ends.

The electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the next presidential election will hold on February 28, 2023.

As questions keep leaping up on where the APC will zone its presidential ticket after the end of the Buhari/north presidency, Governor Buni said the ruling party is rebuilding and reconciling aggrieved members.

He noted that the party just scaled through the whirlpool of another leadership crisis which saw Adams Oshiomhole-led working committee axed out.

He said;

“We cannot say where the chairman or president of the party will be coming from. We cannot cross the bridge until when we get there.

“Meanwhile, the committee is preoccupied with the task of rebuilding a party that would stand the test of time and remain Nigeria’s leading political party.”
