Confusion Rocks Maradona’s Funeral As His Ex Lover Was Banned From Attending His Wake

Published

Diego Maradona’s former lover Rocio Oliva has been left heartbroken after she was reportedly banned from the ex footballer’s wake.

Oliva was among numerous mourners who have been queuing outside the Casa Rosada to pay their last respect to the former footballer.

It was gathered that Oliva is among a number of women Maradona had an affair with after his divorce with first wife, Claudia Villafané

However, according to the 30-year-old, she has been excluded from a list of Maradona’s closest family members and friends allowed into Casa Rosada.

Reports claim she was banned from the legendary striker’s wake by his ex-wife, Claudia, and asked to queue just like the rest of the public.

She has since expressed her disappointment with the decision, insisting she has every right to say her last goodbye to Maradona.

“The decision on who gets in depends on Claudia. I don’t know why they’re doing this to me. All I wanted to do was say goodbye to Diego,” SunSport quoted Oliva saying.

“I was his last partner. I have as much right as anyone else to say goodbye to him,” she lamented.
