Construction Of Lekki-Epe Airport Approved – FG

The long awaited approval of the construction Lekki-Epe International Airport has been confirmed by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika.

The approval of the Lekki-Epe International Airport was presented to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of the Federal Government at the Lagos Economic Summit 2022, held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, disclosed this in a tweet.

Gawat wrote, “The Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu officially receives the Federal Government Approval for the Lekki Epe Airport today at the Lagos Economic Summit, Ehingbeti 2022 at the Eko Hotel and Suites.

“Hon. Minister of Aviation, @hadisirika explains the importance of the Lekki-Epe Airport. He says Lagos is very significant to the economy of the country and that the current Murtala Muhammed Airport is already congested.

“Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu says there is a lot more positive “breaking news” to come at the Lagos Economic Summit, #Ehingbeti2022 and Lagosians should watch out.”
