The turning point in Gillies’ career came in 2010 when she portrayed Jade West in the successful Nickelodeon sitcom “Victorious” from 2010 to 2013. Sam Adegoke’s Career

Sam Adegoke, a Nigerian actor, made a mark in the United States in 2017 when he secured a role in the modern adaptation of the iconic 80s TV show “Dynasty” on The CW. Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, Adegoke nurtured a childhood dream of becoming an actor. Recognizing that fulfilling this dream required a move to the United States, he relocated to sunny Los Angeles in the early 2010s, setting his sights on a career in acting.

His journey commenced with roles in a couple of short films in 2014, namely “I’m Good” and “Find Your Instrument,” providing him with initial exposure to acting in front of a camera. The turning point came in 2015 when Adegoke clinched victory in the ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition, triumphing over 7,000 other hopefuls. This accolade brought him a one-year, $25,000 talent deal with ABC and a guest appearance on the series “Wicked City” in 2015.

Adegoke’s trajectory in screen acting continued to ascend. In 2016, he secured a recurring role on “Murder in the First” and, the following year, featured in six episodes of the popular series “Switched at Birth.” Within a brief span of two years, Adegoke transitioned from relative obscurity to a working actor in Hollywood, marking the initial stages of his success.

The pinnacle of his career came in 2017 when it was announced that Adegoke had been cast in The CW’s reboot of “Dynasty.” Premiering on the network in October 2017, this series, based on the beloved 80s primetime soap opera, catapulted Adegoke into a new echelon of recognition and achievement.
