Previously detained for reportedly assaulting two McDonald’s security personnel in Chicago, Ben Gordon is a former NBA player.

Gordon, 39, was detained on Friday, November 4 at about 3:30 AM. The third-overall selection in 2004 allegedly assaulted a security guard while being led out of Mickey D’s.

Gordon allegedly shoved another male guard, age 21, as well as a 29-year-old guard to the ground.

Although it is unknown why the former basketball player was expelled from the establishment, he has been arrested on two charges of misdemeanor violence, which include making physical contact and inflicting bodily damage.

Gordon was allegedly accused of hitting his 10-year-old son in the head at an airport for dropping a book less than a month ago.

Gordon was detained in connection with an active assault charge for an incident that occurred in Manhattan in 2020 shortly after posting bail in that arrest.

In 2004, Gordon led UConn to an NCAA Championship and led the Association with 14.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest.

Since his retirement in 2017, he has encountered the law multiple times.
