Kidnapped Zamfara Schoolgirls Regain Freedom

The school girls who were reportedly abducted from the Government Secondary School in Jangebe, Zamfara State last week, have regained their freedom.

The girls are currently in the palace of the Emir of Anka and are awaiting transportation to Gusau, the state capital where they are to meet with the state governor, Bello Matawalle.

Recall that on Friday, February 26, armed bandits stormed the school and abducted the students.
