Lai Mohammed Orders (NBC) To Effect Total Shut Down Of BBNaija Show Over Covid-19 Fears

Controversial Minister Of Information And Culture, Lai Mohammed, has ordered the  Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), to Put to an end, the exhibition of the BBNaija show in other to cushion the spread and effect of Covid -19 virus.

It is believed that, government fears the possibility of escalation of COVID-19 cases among the housemates as they haven’t been seen observing precautionary measures put in place by medical experts and those in authority at any given time to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

The housemates can be seen galivanting around like the virus doesn’t exist. The minister was reported to have said

“The acting director-general of NBC,  Armstrong Idachaba informed senior management members that he had been directed by the minister to shut down the show. The minister wanted the letter about ending the show to come from the NBC because of the assertion that he is purposely chasing MultiChoice Ltd, producers of the show, out of Nigeria”

MultiChoice swiftly responded by telling him that it had obeyed the guidelines and set rules put in place by the government before commencing this year’s edition of the popular TV reality show and also working closely with the Lagos State Safety Commission.
