Mom Shares Creative Way Her 13-year-old Daughter Came Out to Her as a Trans boy

A mother has shared the creative way her 13-year-old daughter came out to her as transgender son.

She said she found a note from her daughter under the door and she proceeded to share photos of the notes with her followers.

In the note, the child drew a daughter and a son and referred to the daughter as a “dot-er” and the son as a “sun”.

She added that she was “expected to be an artist who specilaized in pointillism” (Dot: a play on the word daughter or dot- er as she wrote it). But she said she has discovered she’s “a ball of gas” (that is the sun. A way of saying she’s a son).

She went on to list the differences and similarities between her and the sun.

She ended by saying she’s a “son” not a daughter.

“I’m a trans boy,” the child wrote in the final note.

The mother said she’s proud of her trans son and the child wanted her to share it to inspire others.
