Nigeria Confirms Two New Cases Of Coronavirus… Total Now 42

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday confirmed 2 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NCDC disclosed that the confirmed cases were in Lagos and Ogun States.

This now brings the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria to 42.

However, NCDC in a tweet disclosed that one of the cases was a returning traveller.

NCDC wrote: “2 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 1 is in Lagos State & 1 in Ogun.

“One case is a returning traveller. The second case is the contact of a previously confirmed case.

“As at 1pm on March 24, there are 42 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria – 2 discharged, 1 death.”
