Nigerian Man Who Showed Symptoms Of Coronavirus After Attending AMVCA Opens Up

The Nigerian man who reportedly showed symptoms of coronavirus after attending the 7th edition of the AMVCA last weekend has gone public with his own side of the story.

We reported yesterday that a documentary producer warned of a suspected case of coronavirus who might have attended the AMVCA and interacted with a number of Nigerian celebrities. According to Ifeoma Chukwuogo, the man flew in from the UK and is down with coronavirus symptoms, but has refused to report himself to the NCDC to get tested.

Documentary photographer, Seun O has confirmed that he has been feeling unwell since Sunday, March 15, barely a day after self-isolating. Seun who disclosed that he was referred to the Lagos State Government after he went to Lagoon hospital in Victoria Island to get tested, also confirmed that screenshots of a Whatsapp chat which has gone viral online were conversation he had with a friend.

Serving an update, the documentary photographer said a medical team was sent over by the NCDC to get him tested after he spoke to Lagos State Commissioner for health.
