Oil Theft: Oil Bunkering To Stop In Niger Delta – Tompolo

With the rate of Oil theft and bunkering in the Nigeria Delta region of the country which is at an alarming rate.

This bunkering and pipeline vandalization is a big threat to the Country’s economy as it struggles to meet its daily quota due to Crude Oil theft.

The Federal Government of Nigeria have move to resolve the big threat by appointing Mr Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo well known as Tompolo to secure the piple in the region in a deal worth N4 Billion.

Tompolo in his words after the deal says:

“We are going to move into serious action, where we are going to stop the illegal activities in the Niger Delta region. We will implore the press… we don’t have any place to call our home except Nigeria.

We need to do everything within our powers to protect our environment, protect our country and our nation.

My plan for Niger Delta, for peace to reign, is to carry everybody along. People try to do illegal bunkering – people are doing that to survive because there is no other means to survive.

We are working with everybody to do the right thing.”he said
