Samklef has given an update on the impressive crowdfunding effort initiated for Mohbad’s 5-month-old child. This heartfelt campaign has seen an outpouring of support from compassionate Nigerians, surpassing a remarkable 32 million naira.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, leaving behind his beloved wife, Wunmi, and their 5-month-old son. The benevolent spirit of Nigerians shone through as they came together to raise substantial funds for the well-being and care of the singer’s child.

Taking to Twitter on September 19th, Samklef shared the heartwarming news, announcing that the total amount raised had reached an impressive N32,744,900.

In his tweet, he expressed gratitude to all those who had contributed and also acknowledged the honorable presence of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, who paid his respects to the late artist, Imole (Mohbad).
