“Rates In Which People Fall Sick And Die Is Alarming” – Uriel Oputa Speaks Against Unhealthy Lifestyle Habits

Published

Uriel Oputa, a Big Brother Naija contestant, has raised concern about the number of people who pass away too soon and get sick.

The chef asserts that bad habits including insufficient sleep, insufficient exercise, insufficient water, and consumption of starchy and fatty foods are to blame for heart attacks, strokes, and other disorders.

She urged Nigerians to adopt a better lifestyle and routinely visit their physicians on her Instagram feed.

She wrote;

“People are just dropping dead/falling sick. Pls take care of your health I don’t know how else to preach what I’ve been preaching for years!!! Health is everything, sleep is important, food is key!! Stress less, pls pls check-up is a must. I check on a regular.
I recently checked and saw my body needed more calcium. How would I have known!!
do you know your status?? i honestly get sick when I see people post soups with plenty oil and fatty meat.. (evidence of good living) they say!!! I see high cholesterol, stroke, heart issues. Nigerians don’t even drink water.
Do you even know the required daily amount of water??? And you live in a hot climate
We need to start checking ourselves. I know there’s a lot of stigma attached to some illness but, it’s better to know. this our generation na only starchy food we know.
I know a lot of people have gotten signs from their body!! Pls make that change eat right
Exercise, visit your doctor.”
