Real Madrid President, Perez Blast UEFA… As They Threatened To Ban Players For Super League Participation

Published

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has dismissed threats from UEFA president Alexander Ceferin, who said that players participating in the Super League “will be banned from the World Cup and Euros”.

There has been a major outcry over the Super League proposal, which was announced on Sunday and includes 12 teams with a further three expected to be added.

Football Fans are up in arms, UEFA and Governments are defiant and claim they will stop this plan altogether, but the new Super League Chairman and owner of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, is equally as defiant and claims they WILL NOT back down from the plan regardless of what UEFA threaten and do.

He also claims that all clubs, including Chelsea, signed a legal binding contract to join the league LAST Saturday.

But what about the Champions League this season and players not playing international football? Well, Perez has dismissed both of those claims entirely.
