Senator Shehu Sani Doubts NCDC Claims On Coronavirus

Published

Senator Shehu Sani took to Twitter to subtly question the authenticity of COVID-19 claims made by the NCDC.

The Nigerian Senator tweeted: “They will say they are short of bed spaces for #Covid-19 patients and they will never show you hundred people in a ward at a time.”

He said this after Director General, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC, Chikwe Ihekweazu, said that a good number of Covid-19 patients in Nigeria are not in isolation centres because the government is still struggling to increase bed space capacity across the country.

In an initial sarcastic tweet, Shehu Sani wrote: “In our Country, dancing to Reggae, Afrobeat, Pop or Shaku with a dosage of Chloroquine in our Isolation Centers appears to have the healing powers for #Covid_19 patients. They dance, they post & they are discharged. Could this be the secret therapy the PTF doesn’t want to be exposed?”
