Simi Knocks Skitmakers Ashmusy, Nons Miraj, Others Over Their Depiction of African Moms

Nigerian singer Simi took to Twitter to express her strong disapproval of a particular skit that portrayed African moms in a negative light.

She drew a parallel line between comedy and offensive content in her tweet where she raised concern on what is considered acceptable content.

Taking to Twitter, She voiced her displeasure about a particular video that depicted African mothers in an unflattering light.

She mentioned the skit where these mothers were shown in a disheveled state and eating in a manner that she found offensive.

Simi’s tweet read, “That video about African moms where they looked a mess and were eating like dogs made me mad af,”
