Singer Nicki Minaj Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Damage Of Jewelry She Borrowed

Published

A lawsuit against American musician Nicki Minaj claims she has unpaid payments for personalized jewels.

The West Hollywood-based Roseark items business has sued the rapper, claiming that she damaged some of the items they had lent her.

Nicki’s lawyer has responded by claiming that she is not accountable for the alleged damages and that the jeweler is only bringing her into the lawsuit to gain attention.

In accordance with the lawsuit, Roseark Jewelry Store agreed to lend Nicki the jewelry for a public appearance after Brett Alan Nelson, Nicki’s stylist, signed a contract with the retailer.

The contract also required Brett to return the jewelry within a week and to be liable for any damages that could arise while it was being returned.

However, it is claimed that Nicki’s stylist failed to return 66 pieces of jewelry by the agreed-upon deadline. Moreover, when the items were eventually returned, it was discovered that a set of earrings and a leaf ring had noticeable damage.

A source close to Nicki told TMZ that everything was returned on time as promised, and it was only after items had been in the jeweler’s possession for some time that the store complained about a missing stone.
