Nigerian music sensation Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, widely recognized as Skales, used his social media platform ‘X’ in the early hours of October 10 to reveal an unsettling incident involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria (EFCC).

Skales reported that EFCC agents entered his home with firearms, ostensibly for a routine inspection.

According to the musician, the EFCC had received information suggesting his involvement in fraudulent activities.

Skales expressed his disbelief by stating, “They claimed to have received intelligence suggesting my involvement in fraudulent activities, lol. They described it as a routine inspection. Fortunately, they discovered no evidence to support these allegations.”

According to Skales, the incident took place in front of his six-month-old daughter and her mother.

Regarding the allegations made against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, he vehemently asserted, “I am not a criminal, I have never don fraud in my life, you came in with guns to oppress me in front of my daughter and her mother”. The popular Nigerian artist went on to express his fear for his life, his health, and the safety of his family.
