“Stop Lying To Yourselves” Actress Angela Okorie Critisized Colleagues Claiming Acting Gave Them Money To Buy Houses and Cars

Angela Okorie, a well-known Nollywood actress, has criticized female junior coworkers who she thinks are not totally honest about their source of income.

Thespian joined in on the ongoing discussion about female performers being more successful than their male counterparts and owning enormous buildings all across the country in a recent podcast.

Angela criticized actresses who flaunt their mansions at posh estates and locales in less than a year after joining the industry and claim to have purchased the houses with money from their acting careers. She pointed out that male movie stars are very hardworking.

While insisting that no money from the movie industry could give anyone money to buy mansions in pricey places in that short period, she begged them to quit lying.

Angela told the junior actresses, who claim that money from acting made them wealthy, to desist from creating such false impression because it makes actresses who have been in the industry before them look irresponsible.

According to her, these young actresses have other means of getting money but keep lying about acting, making it look like their older colleagues are not doing something right.
