Woman Calls Out Ministry Of Education After Her Son’s School Said The Blood Of Jesus Will Protect Them From Coronavirus

A Nigerian mother has expressed outrage after she called her son’s school to ask what’s being done to protect kids amid the coronavirus pandemic only to be told that the school is relying on the “blood of Jesus” for protection.

@YarKafanchan tweeted: “Calling my son’s school to ask the steps they are taking on COVID19 and they are telling me the blood of Jesus will cover them. I am livid. Ministry of Education please close schools down. These schools are not ready and my child has pre-existing respiratory conditions. PLEASE!”

She added: “It is not a joke. I told them he is high risk and they said I should not talk like that. This country needs an overhaul. Religion has ended it.”
