15-Year-Old MINTED N500 Notes Found… As HOARDERS Are Starting To Spend Their Hidden NAIRA!

Published

After the announcement and the already in-progress plans of redesigning and replacing Naira notes, Nigerians have started to unearth their safes.

On December 15, 2022, the CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria) will introduce new 200, 500, and 1,000 Naira notes into circulation, and phase out the current notes as legal money on January 31st, 2023.

The CBN’s plans to redesign and replace Naira notes are apparently aimed at increasing the value of the Naira and curbing the excess money that’s in circulation as this would cause a massive reduction in inflation.

On Sunday, President Buhari reiterated that he gave his full support to the CBN, and Nigerians have been urged to get their cash at hand deposited in a span of three months before the current design goes into extinction.

Since then humble citizen have been unearthing their safe and gone banks and 15-year-old minted 500 Naira notes has been brought out of hiding by hoarders.
