Achraf Hakimi Joins PSG After A Title-winning Season At Inter

Published

Achraf joined the Nerazzurri from Real Madrid last summer for 40m euros plus five in variables after spending two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

Real Madrid have not exercised their right of first refusal and the Morocco international has put pen to paper on a deal until 2026.

Achraf played a key role in Inter’s success last season in Serie A, where he played 37 times, scoring seven goals and mustering 10 assists.

Mauricio Pochettino already has options such as Colin Dagba, Thilo Kehrer and Abdou Diallo, all of whom can play at right-back and will compete for a spot in the starting line-up with Achraf.

PSG have already made official the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer from Liverpool and they are expected to do so with that of Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose contract with AC Milan has come to an end.
