Election Petition: No Way Peter Obi Wins The Petition Once Tinubu Is Swore In – Ned Nwoko

Published

Ned Nwoko, the senator-elect for Delta North, has claimed that the Labour Party’s petition against Tinubu’s election as president-elect is a fruitless endeavor.

Nwoko, according to Punch, said that the petition brought up against the President-elect at the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal in Abuja might not come to light after he is sworn in.

He claimed that the Labour Party lost because of its “poor assessment of the situation and unrealistic expectations.” Given the ‘poor performance’ of the current APC administration, headed by President Buhari, he said that if the opposition parties had joined forces, they would have thrashed the ruling APC in the election.

“Once Tinubu is inaugurated as President, he takes charge of everything. He becomes the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces; he orders them and uses them as he wishes. He appoints new Chief Justice upon recommendation by the judicial council.

So, you see, it is almost impossible to stop him from completing his four years tenure.

Moving forward, the PDP and Labour Party have to come to terms and make next election more strategic. Natural alliance between both parties is the only way to save Nigeria from this inauspicious government.” he said
