Kano Demolition: I Would Have Slapped Kwankwaso If We Met In Aso Rock – Ganduje (Video)

Abdullahi Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, has said that Musa Kwankwaso, his predecessor, was someone he might have slapped if they had crossed paths at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This was said by Ganduje to media at the State House on Friday following a meeting with President Bola Tinubu.

He asserted that the demolitions in Kano were carried out without following the proper procedures, in violation of the law, and that Kwankwaso was responsible for orchestrating the demolition in the state.

Some structures demolished include Haji camp, Daula Hotel, and shopping complexes around the Eid Prayer Ground in the state.

Kwankwaso lost the presidential election on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, although the party’s candidate, Abba Yusuf, won the Kano State Governorship election.

However, both men were in the Villa at the same period to see the president.

When asked about the President’s response and if they had reconciled inside the Villa, Ganduje said, “I know he is in the building but we have not met. Probably if we met, maybe I could have slapped him.”
