“My Husband Is Not A Magician” – Oluremi Tinubu Tells Nigerians

Published

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has appealed to Nigerians for patience in their expectations from her husband, President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that he cannot perform miraculous feats.

Addressing an event in Abuja on Sunday, October 1, the First Lady conveyed, “We have inherited challenges that have been accumulating over many years.

Our intention is not to lay blame on past administrations but to repair the damage that has been done. My husband is not a magician; he is committed to working tirelessly, and I hold faith and hope that our nation will find peace. The best is yet to come.”

She stressed the importance of good governance, underlining that its impact depends on citizens following the example set by Jesus Christ, who embodied the virtues of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, and forgiveness.

In her optimistic outlook, she declared, “A Nigeria of abundance has already commenced, and to be part of the greatness that God has initiated in our nation, Nigerians must cast their gaze beyond current circumstances and rekindle their hope.”
