Tinubu Extends N25,000 Provisional Wage To All Levels Of Workers

Published

President Bola Tinubu’s initiative to increase wages by N25,000 has been expanded to include workers at all levels of the civil service.

The announcement came from the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, as reported by NTA.

Previously, President Tinubu had declared a N25,000 wage increment for low-grade federal workers as an intervention to alleviate the effects of the fuel subsidy removal policy.

This announcement was made during the President’s nationwide broadcast on Independence Day.

Now, the wage increase will be extended to encompass all levels of civil service workers, ensuring that a broader range of employees benefit from this initiative.

The salary adjustment is set to be in effect for a period of six months.
