NDLEA Intercepts London-bound crystal meth And Also Arrests Freight Agent (video)

A freight agent was detained, and crystal meth was discovered hidden in a shipment headed to London, United Kingdom, by NDLEA agents stationed at the SAHCO export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, in Ikeja, Lagos.

The agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said in a statement on Sunday, February 12, that 1.10 kilograms of methamphetamine were concealed within the four walls of a container that contained food products.

On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the freight agent, Agholor Emmanuel, who tendered the shipment for export, was promptly detained.

Another attempt to send a consignment of skunk and tramadol 225mg to the UAE by a Dubai-returnee, Nnamani Monday Innocent was also frustrated following his arrest at Trade Fair complex in Ojo area of Lagos, where he had gone in company of his friend Nwanana Emmanuel Ikechukwu with the cargo to a freight company to process the consignment for export on 7th February.
