A 14-year-old kid named Marvelous Asefon has been placed in remand by an Ondo State Magistrate Court in Akure, the state’s capital, over the alleged murder of his next-door neighbor, Sunday Ogele.

According to reports, the accused was detained by members of the State Police Command after fatally slashing the deceased with a pair of scissors after an altercation over a girlfriend in Oka Akoko, the state’s capital and Akoko South-West Local Government Area, in April.

Later, he was arraigned in court and charged with one count of murder.
