Owo Attacks: Tinubu, Osinbanjo, Fayemi, Amosu abandon campaigns, visit victims

Less than 12 hours to the National Convention of the All Progressive Congress, four Presidential aspirants of the party, abandoned their campaigns to visit victims of the last Sunday killings at the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.

They include, the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, former governor of Lgos state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’, former Ogun state governor, lbikunle Amosu and the incumbent governor of Ekiti state, Dr Kayode Fayemi.

Vanguard gathered that Fayemi and Amosu arrived together while Tinubu and Osinbajo arrives separately to visit the victims of the attack.

Those who accompanied Tinubu to the state include former Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Chairman of TETFUND, Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, former APC National Vice Chairman, Southwest, Chief Pius Akinyelure, former Chairman of Economic and Financial Crime Commission, Nuhu Ribadu and former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Otunba Femi Pedro.
