Presidential Aide, Bashir Ahmad Debunks Speculations That President Buhari Addressed Nigerians From Cuba

Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New Media, has mocked Nigerians who speculated that President Buhari addressed the nation from Cuba on Sunday night.

Some Nigerians on Twitter insinuated that the flag behind the President during his address was that of the Cuban nation and that he is currently in that country.

Bashir took to Twitter to laugh off the claim and also educate them on what the flag stands for.

Tolu Ogunlesi who is the special assistant to President Buhari on Digital/new Media, also explained what the flag stands for;

    I know that his is from a hotel basement in Havana in Cuba the capital of cube where Abba Kari is been treated from coronavirus. 1, that is not live broadcast is recorded and they played it for Nigeria check your tv screen there is no live on it. 2, there is so much noise at the background that is not ASO Rock. 3, at the end of the broadcast a Samsung ringing tone at the background. 4, the coat of arms Lugo on his back, there is no such Lugo in aso Rock. Prove me wrong if you know otherwise.
