“The Viral Audio Call Between Me And Bishop Oyedepo Is Doctored And Fake” – Peter Obi

Published

Peter Obi, a presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has claimed that the audio call purporting to be of his discussion with Bishop David Oyedepo is a hoax.

Remember that a voice tape that many believe was between him and Oyedepo during the 2023 presidential campaigns appeared online over the weekend.

The 2023 general election was described as a “religious war” in the viral audio recording in which a man claiming to be Obi requested a man claiming to be Oyedepo to help facilitate votes for him among the Christian community.

In a series of tweets posted this evening, Obi stated that the audio recording is fake and that at no time during and after the elections has he even implied that the 2023 election is, or was a religious war. He said his legal team has been instructed to take appropriate legal actions against those who released the fake audio online.
