“You Can’t Bully Me” – Actress, Toyin Abraham And Colleague Kemi Afolabi Argue About Presidential Candidate Choice On IG live (Video)

Published

Recently, Toyin Abraham and Kemi Afolabi, two well-known Nollywood actresses, engaged into a contentious disagreement on Instagram Live.

It all began when Toyin made it obvious that she was not being paid to support Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), as she had been since she made her preference known during the live session.

Toyin contends that as a Nigerian, she has the right to endorse and cast her vote for whoever she wishes, and that she shouldn’t face harassment because of this decision.

She continued by claiming that the daily curses hurled at her would not harm her because she supports Tinubu voluntarily and not as a result of being paid.

Kemi Afolabi, on the other hand, tried to let her colleague, Toyin, realise why Nigerians might be angry with her choice.

She made reference to the October 20, 2020, EndSARS incident and the deplorable state of government hospitals in Lagos State.

Toyin Abraham then retorted that Kemi Afolabi was only trying to please the audience by saying what she felt they wanted to hear.

“Choose your candidate you can’t bully me, Kemi you are saying all these things because you feel that’s what people want to hear. Is that the only problem on ground ? why are you not talking about hunger?”. Toyin said in part.
