First National Broadcast Of President Tinubu Will be On 12th June 2023 – SGF George Akume

President Bola Tinubu will have his first national broadcast on Monday, June 12, 2023, according to information provided by the secretary to the government of the federation, George Akume, at a global press conference on Friday, June 9, 2023 in Abuja.

In order to honor the warriors who diligently fought for the establishment of democratic governance in Nigeria since 1999, he emphasized the need of annually commemorating Democracy Day from May 29 to June 12.

In accordance with the Nigerian Constitution, the anniversary of the transfer of power, which takes place on May 29, was also made clear by him.

“In commemorating this year’s anniversary, it is important for citizens and foreigners alike to reflect on the nation’s progress and assess the dividends that democracy has yielded, as well as areas where improvements are needed,” Presidential Broadcast, Monday, 12th June 2023, 7:00 am.
